Using the console is the only way to do it and if you don't believe me that it's the only way. sweden thought about things for a month or so, then i get the message: 'sweden has joined the allies' (which included poland) Obviously they couldn't reach each other due to not sharing a land border. i was communist yugoslavia chomping up the balkans, but not in faction with USSR. i had a game where sweden declared war on the USSR (who was at war with finland). Nope, just became mates with the USA/UK/USSR/Germany LOL, good luck!Īlthough i will say that sometimes it looks like genius. I despise AI countries joining a faction when i'm kicking the shit out of them.
